Super Easy Homemade Soap Recipe
This may just be the most simple soap recipe there is! It's perfect for beginners and it's easy enought where you can just whip up a batch to have something pretty for your bathroom or to give as a delightful homemade gift for friends!
This is a basic soap recipe with many suggestions for variations and ways to personalize it to your tastes.
One block of pur glycerine melt-and-pour soup
Dried flowers, herbs or small decorations
Essential oils or soap-safe fragrance oils
Soap colorizing powder
Soap molds
Cut the soap block into several pieces and melt using a double boiler or in a microwave.
Note: if melting in the microwave, first melt on high for about 30 seconds, then continue to microwave in 10 secon intervals until the block is completely melted.
Let the soap cool slightly, then add your choice of additives (dried flowers, mix-ins, toys), fragrance and colors. Pour the soap mixture into mold and let it cool completely for 30 - 45 minutes. Gently release the soap from the mold.
